Ghost® Trolling Motor software version 1.3.05.00.2.2 is now available for download via the Lowrance® mobile app or a compatible display connected to an NMEA 2000® network.

Significant software improvements have been implemented in the internal Ghost Head Sensor to address and prevent the recurring 5 beep / 3 flash failure. These enhancements improve system reliability and reduce false failure alerts, ensuring smoother operation and increased confidence in performance.

Note: After updating, the user will need to reconfigure the trolling motor programmable keys and set the desired stow direction. To configure trolling motor keys and set stow direction, the Ghost® and compatible MFD MUST be connected to an NMEA 2000® network.

Updating the Trolling Motor software via NMEA 2000® & Compatible Display/MFD:

1. Visit www.lowrance.co.za Software downloads
2. Download Ghost® 1.3.05 update to a micro-SD card that is 32Gb or smaller.
3. Put the micro-SD card into the card slot on the display.
4. Press Pages > storage > select the SD card > select the update > upgrade > select Ghost® trolling motor > start upgrade.
5. Once the screen says update complete, wait for the indicator arrow LED to stop flashing BEFORE powering off the motor.
6. Once the LEDs stop flashing the motor is now ready for operation.
